Direct Access allows you to come straight to therapy without a doctor’s order for numerous ailments. We have included a list of ailments we can help you recover from. How to prepare:
Be sure to write down facts about the history of your problem, such as how and when it
started, what makes it better or worse, and how it is affecting your day to day activities. Also
write down any questions you may have about your issue. Writing this information down makes
it less likely you will forget or miss something during your evaluation.

Direct access is a state law that allows for most patients to receive treatment from a
physical therapist without a doctor’s referral for up to 30-90 days. To be considered for
direct access treatment, you must not have been seen by a physician for your issue in the last 6 months.
