Trauma

Physical therapy can be an important part of recovery following a variety of trauma injuries. We treat patients suffering from broken bones or sprains, falling in their bathroom to tragic accidents such as car wrecks. There really is no accidental trauma too small or large to benefit from physical therapy if there is an injury involved. If you have pain from a fall whether it be neck, back, shoulder or ankle pain because you slipped in the shower, PT can help to strengthen your injuries and calm your pain. If you fall off of a ladder and break your ankle, you may need PT to walk in a normal pattern and gain all of your ankle motion again after being in a cast for some weeks. If you suffer from ongoing pain following a car accident with no major injuries, you can benefit from PT to help decrease your neck or back pain that can linger even weeks or months later. If you suffer from any type of trauma, talk to your doctor and ask if physical therapy is right for you. Call us and discuss the possibility of direct access. We can help guide you and are proud to serve you here in Cool Springs, Spring Hill and Shelbyville.
