Bill Anderson loves to fish, but recently developed “Fishing Elbow,” otherwise known as Tennis Elbow. Tennis Elbow is a repetitive movement strain injury that required treatment for relief, and Bill opted for our dry needling option for quicker relief.
When dry needling, our physical therapist takes a thin filiform needle to penetrate the skin and stimulate deep myofascial trigger points. The needle allows our physical therapist to work deep into tissue that would not be easily manipulated manually. Trigger points are then disrupted, reducing muscle tension and pain. This also allows for a greater range of motion, allowing Bill to get back to the fishing he loves sooner.
Come see us at Elite Physical Therapy and Balance Center and see if dry needling can help you! No referral needed! To request an appointment, click here, or call directly during regular business hours: 931-684-0027
