The Shuttle:
Like a swinging bridge that allows our Physical Therapists to determine a patient balance needs based on their movements as they walk across. For therapy, we use the Shuttle bridge on easy, medium, and harder-to-balance options on the platform as we perform exercises with the patients. Pediatric patients often enjoy playing catch as they stand on this Shuttle.
The Harness System:
Patients can confidently perform balance exercises, knowing that they CAN NOT fall secured in our harness system.
Virtual Reality Goggles:
Don the VR goggles and get ready to tackle real –life situations that will test a patients balance, while keeping them engaged and challenged.
Biodex:
State-of-the-Art machine with a floating platform designed to offer over 30 interactive activities that encourage solid body structure and balance, with a reporting system designed to analyze patients’ weaknesses and offer designed programs to help them advance. Our pediatric patients especially love playing games on the Biodex.
