Carl Hardesty is a patient at our Shelbyville clinic. Earlier this year, Carl had back surgery to assist a pinched nerve caused due to having Scoliosis. He doesn’t recall a time when he hurt his back per se, but just with time and age, it became worse and worse. The pain became so great that it caused him to miss work, which is when he elected for surgery to get it fixed. He really wanted to get back to work, be able to stand longer, and walk further.
After surgery, Carl elected to have his physical therapy performed at Elite. Carl says that he feels better with each visit to the clinic. The staff has really worked him hard and according to Carl, “they made me exercise more than I’ve ever done before and stretched me out.” Carl is continuing to do his home exercises and is very pleased with his progress with Elite. Carl contends that he appreciates that the staff gets to know their patients well and that they are very nice and friendly.
