Patient Story: Ali Starkweather

On March 27th, Ali Starkweather had surgery for an ACL/meniscus repair in her knee.  As part of her therapy, she has worked extensively on the balance ball to strengthen her knee so that she can get back to being active again.  She has always been a very active person, so exercise is important to her.  In her response to how she feels about her therapy, Ali responded, “I feel great.  The employees and staff at Elite always greeted me with a smile and pushed me everyday.  I will miss them!”  Ali is three and half months post op, and has made big improvements.  She says, “I’m not 100% yet.  I still can’t run completely, but Elite has given me the tools I need to make a full recovery.”

This week, we graduate Ali from her office program to complete her exercises at home.  Our HEP’s (home exercise programs) are essential to completing the healing process.  We know Ali will make a full recovery with her commitment to the program.

Thank you Ali for choosing Elite PT and Balance.  We have cherished getting to know you and assisting you through this time of your life.  We will miss you, but cherish that you have come so far in your goal of a quick recovery with long-lasting effects.

HAPPY GRADUATION DAY!  WE WILL “ACL YOU LATER!”
