Anna’s Total Hip Replacement

We met Anna during the pandemic when her left hip started hurting as she was battling osteoarthritis. After a good successful round of PT and a solid HEP, Anna Koropchak’s left hip continued to progress which required her to stop some favorite activities like hiking. After returning to her surgeon and planning a left hip total hip arthroplasty, Anna requested pre-op PT at Elite Physical Therapy in Cool Springs to help her mobility and strength before her hip replacement.  Anna came faithfully to her physical therapy visits pre and post surgery. Her goal was to enjoy shopping, walking, and hiking without pain or thinking about her hip post op. We were also able to set up her walker, educate her on furniture changes and prep her for surgery with equipment.

When asked about her therapy experience, Anna said, “Therapy at Elite has been great.  PT Misha was outstanding as well as Kellie and Ally. They are highly skilled, compassionate, encouraging and supportive.”

Anna gets most of the credit as she was pro-active in coming to therapy before her surgery and put in the work to get strengthened. This effort resulted in a much easier recovery as she is “breezing” through her therapy after surgery.

Thank you, Anna Koropchak, for choosing Elite Physical Therapy and Balance. We are blessed to help you Feel better faster as we care for you post operatively following a successful left hip joint replacement.
