Josie Messick has been a Physical Therapist Technician at our Cool Springs clinic since May of this year. She is from Murfreesboro, TN, and graduated Cum Laude from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelors of Exercise Science.
Josie gained an interest in physical therapy during high school. She had two knee scopes then and had to have a few weeks of physical therapy afterwards. From that point on, she kept an interest in physical therapy. She came to Elite for an internship for school over the summer of 2017, and we never let her leave. She is excellent at communicating with the patients and does a fantastic job at making sure the patients are comfortable and even enjoying their therapy. She has a positive spirit and we are thankful to have her on our team.
When Josie is away from the clinic, she enjoys time with her family and her dog, Benji. She has four nephews and a niece on the way. She loves watching her nephews watch baseball and taking Benji on walks. Josie also loves working out and being outside. She is an active person with a great outlook on life. Her positive attitude is a huge asset to our patients in helping them to Feel Better Faster.
