National Drug Take Back Day – April 27, 2019
ELITE PHYSICAL THERAPY & BALANCE and the SPRING HILL POLICE DEPARTMENT hosted a prescription drug drop off event.
This weekend’s #crushthecrisis National Drug Take-Back Event was a smashing success. With the help of the Spring Hill Police Department, we were able to pass out approximately 600 bags or backpacks stuffed with goodies and flyers for the community. These flyers bring awareness to the dangers of keeping expired medications around people’s homes while offering a few options for safe disposal. The bags and backpacks offered information about the physical services we offer, a referral card, highlighters, pens, pads of paper and candy. We interfaced with about 700 people in front of the clinic in 4 hours. The Spring Hill crowd was very welcoming and appreciative of our efforts and every car we approached welcomed us with smiles. It was a great day! Spring Hill, thank you for allowing us to be part of your community!
We invite the Spring Hill and neighboring communities to participate by bringing your expired and unused prescription medications to be safely discarded.
